Bio

Family law matters often involve both financial and parenting issues, and decisions in one area can affect outcomes in the other. I help clients understand their situation, make informed decisions, and develop a clear strategy that addresses those issues together as part of the overall matter. Because uncertainty often drives conflict, I focus on reviewing the relevant information and providing straightforward advice so that clients can move forward with greater clarity and a clear sense of direction.

Before becoming a lawyer, I worked in accounting, including at a large international forensic accounting firm where I contributed to expert quantification reports in litigation and insurance matters. That experience continues to shape how I practise family law today. I approach each matter in a structured and methodical way, focusing on what is most relevant and turning complex information into practical advice that clients can understand and rely on. That same approach applies not only to financial issues, but also to parenting disputes, where it is important to work through the issues carefully with a clear understanding of their long-term impact.

I have practised family law for a decade, representing clients in both negotiated outcomes and court proceedings. My work includes both financial and parenting matters, which are often closely connected and must be considered together when developing a strategy. In more complex matters, this includes financial issues involving businesses where income determination and business valuations require careful attention. In each case, I ensure that positions taken in one area support the overall direction of the matter. While the analysis can be detailed, I remain mindful that these issues affect real families and their long-term stability.

Family disputes can become more difficult when key issues are left unresolved or misunderstood. By addressing both financial and parenting issues in a thorough and structured way, I help clients move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
