Bio

I have practised family law for more than a decade, focusing on practical, lasting solutions in family matters resolved through negotiation or, when necessary, through the court process. Separation and family change often bring emotion and uncertainty, and those pressures can make it difficult to see the path forward clearly. Part of my role is to bring structure and perspective to that process, helping clients think through their options carefully so that early decisions support long-term stability rather than unnecessary conflict.

A significant portion of my work involves both parenting disputes and financial issues that arise from separation. I am particularly attentive to how conflict between parents can affect decision-making and, ultimately, children themselves, while also ensuring that financial arrangements are practical and sustainable over time. Clients often tell me that I am direct and honest, but also approachable. I value that balance. Clear and candid advice, delivered respectfully, allows families to resolve issues more efficiently and with fewer complications.

Before becoming a lawyer, I spent many years managing a busy hospitality business in my hometown. That experience, combined with more than a decade in family law, has shaped how I approach my work today. I learned early on how to listen carefully, manage competing expectations, and remain calm when emotions are elevated. I also developed a strong appreciation for realistic planning, including thoughtful consideration of time and financial constraints. Those lessons continue to inform how I guide clients through family matters.

While many disputes can be resolved through careful negotiation, I prepare each matter with the understanding that court may be required. When litigation becomes necessary, I proceed confidently and with focus. Whether through settlement or court, my objective remains the same: to help clients move through a difficult period with clarity, efficiency, and decisions that serve them well in the years ahead.
